Another Offshore Crane Successfully Passes The Process Inspection For Abs Certification

Recently, OUCO factory received good news. Under the supervision of ABS surveyor, the 1.5T12M stiff boom Offshore Crane successfully passed various tests and was highly praised by the surveyor.

This time it is Mike, an old friend from Mexico, who first cooperated with OUCO in 2021, when he bought a CCS certified 1.5T10M stiff boom crane, which was well used later, so he is very satisfied with the quality and service of our crane, and is ready to continue to order a 1.5T12M stiff boom Offshore crane this time. After communication and understanding, the crane needs to be ABS certified, meet the 4 class sea condition (wave height Hsig 2m), with manned system.

OUCO's offshore crane manufacturing experience is extensive

In terms of ABS certified crane manufacturing, OUCO has quite mature experience and has so far supplied over 50 marine cranes, including ABS Certified Offshore Cranes, to customers in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and South America. Since it was the second cooperation, the customer recognized our manufacturing capability and signed the contract and paid the deposit very soon. During the production process, the customer suddenly proposed to make the whole machine explosion-proof, because the crane was to be used on oil tankers. If the electric control box is placed in the safe area, only the electrical part on the crane arm can be made explosion-proof, which can also save cost. However, the safety area of the customer's ship is far away from the installation position of the crane, so the electric control box cannot be placed in the safety area, so the electric control box can only be changed to explosion-proof as well.

Finally, with many negotiations with ABS, we came up with a good solution to help our client solve the problem.

Currently, the offshore crane has passed ABS's drawing review, raw material review, welding details and flaw detection, and has entered the subsequent production process.
